  • [Jan. 21 – March 26] Visit the statewide Maryland Art Place (MAP) Art Exhibit.   • [Feb. 23, and Dates in March] Learn how to play a new instrument. The Creative Alliance is holding a Hawaiian-themed ukulele workshop where you can learn how to play the instrument. The workshop will take place at the Creative Alliance at The Patterson, which is located at 3134 Eastern Ave., Baltimore 21224. It’s available for five Tuesdays, on February 23, 2016, and March 1, 8, 15, and 22.
  • [Feb. 28 – May 22] See the original work from Carlo Crivelli, an artist from the Italian Renaissance era. This 15th century artist will fascinate you with his use of gold and luminous strokes. This event is taking place at The Walters Art Museum, located at 600 N Charles St, Baltimore, 21201. It is an ongoing exhibition from February 28, 2016, until May 22, 2016.
  • [March 2 – March 26] Go to a musical performance. The performance Something Like Jazz Music follows Baltimore workers as they discover a magical suitcase, open it up, and are transported to the ’20’s — the era in which the former owner of the luggage lived. This performance is an original piece, and it is taking place at the Single Carrot Theatre from March 2 until March 26, 2016. The Single Carrot Theatre is located at 2600 N. Howard Street, Suite 1200, Baltimore, 21218.
  • [March 19] Visit the African American Heritage Family Festival. This festival will honor the rich history of the African American experience in Maryland throughout the ages, and is taking place at The Walters Art Museum, at 600 N. Charles Street Baltimore, 21201. No registration is required.
  • [March 19 – March 20] Stay overnight… at the zoo! This special event at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore lets you sleep over right at the zoo, where you can catch animals snoozing and learn all about their night habits. According to the zoo, you will learn about African penguins and reptiles, polar bears, and about a number of Baltimore’s own nocturnal animals. The zoo is located at 1876 Mansion House Drive, Baltimore, 21217.
  • [March 28 – April 3] Visit the awe-inspiring Light FestivalLight City Baltimore. This have-to-see light festival is large in scale and will feature art and multi-disciplinary talent from Baltimore as well as around the world. There will be fountain shows, light shows, art exhibitions, live performances, workshops, and music concerts to be had. The event is taking place at night, on the streets around the Inner Harbor.
